Historic House

Interpretive Planning

In Hong Kong, the Maryknoll House, built in 1935 by the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America, is the foundation for a new cultural experience. The house tells a powerful story of compassion and resilience that spans seven decades. Recognized as a Grade 1 historic building by the government, Maryknoll House will soon be made accessible to the public. An interpretive plan has been proposed to outline the vision and strategy for public access, ensuring visitors can explore both the history of the house and its significance within the broader context of Hong Kong’s cultural heritage.
